About This Coach

Since arriving at Georgia Tech in 2007, Coach Johnson has been named Atlantic Coast Conference Coach of the Year in each of his first two seasons. He previously served six seasons as head Coach of the U.S. Naval Academy, leading the Midshipmen to five straight Commander-in-Chief’s trophies and five consecutive bowl bids. Before that, Johnson guided the Eagles at Georgia Southern to two I-AA National Championships and was named the Division I-AA National Coach of the Year four years in a row.
