About This Coach

Coach Hale earned graduate and undergraduate degrees in health and physical education from West Chester University while playing linebacker for the Golden Rams. After serving three years with the Marines, he worked as head coach for his alma mater for five years before coming to Bloomsburg. He began his seventeenth season at the helm of the Huskies in 2009 and has posted a career record of 136-46-1. He holds the school record for most coaching victories.

Team and Coach Involvement in the Community

• Speaks on behalf of the United Way
• Serves as advisor to the Play by Faith group on campus
• Leads weekly ministries at a local prison
• Organizes team involvement in Big Brothers Big Sisters
• Coordinates team involvement in annual blood drive and mentoring programs
• Promotes team involvement in All-Access Youth Rally and volunteering with youth football groups
• Players and coach participate in Shikellemy Elementary School Reading Day program
