About This Coach

Greg Debeljak was named head coach at Case Western in 2004. This year, he lead the Spartans to a 10-0 record, their third consecutive perfect regular season. From the Cleveland area, Debeljak played basketball and football at Akron and John Carroll Universities before graduating from JCU in 1988. He spent twelve years as assistant coach at JCU before joining the Case staff in 2001. Under his leadership, the Spartans participated in Case Western’s Case for the Community, running a sports clinic for 300 inner-city youths.
