About This Coach

Before taking the reins of the Diplomats in 2006, Coach Troxell began his career as an assistant coach at Columbia University, where he earned an M.A. in sociology and education in 1997. For three years he served as assistant coach at Muhlenberg College, guiding the Mules to the Eastern College Athletic Conference title in 2000. He then returned to his alma mater, Lafayette College, where he had been the starting free safety on the 1992 Patriot League championship team.

  • Players tutor inner-city students at a local elementary school as part of Fulton Fridays
  • Team volunteered at Day Care Read-a-Thon, raising money to buy books for a day care center
