Coach Gilmore is a great football coach with tremendous passion for the game, yet still humble about his success. Gilmore possesses a tireless work ethic and continually strives for excellence in himself and his players. Gilmore demonstrates what he expects from his players on and off the field. He can get more from a player because they respect him and he has proven that hard work, determination and good coaching will prevail on the gridiron. Anyone who has played for Coach Gilmore will put him on the top of the list as he a better football player and overall person as a result of his influence and example.

Class, Character, Integrity - these are all words that describe Coach Swinney! He is a man who teaches his players the importance of having character on and off the field. He makes sure they know this game will last a short amount of time in comparison to life out of that uniform - when what they do, and say, and how they act will affect much more than a score or stats. And who they are as 'men with character' should be seen on the field- in attitude toward opposing players, and should be seen off the field - in normal life, in jobs and family and work. Saying all that, Dabo took a team of young men and made them excellent players!

Coach Boerman ,Bentley University, is a leader, mentor, friend and coach to so many young men, Like myself he has also coached the person as much as the sport of football over several decades. He has instilled the importance of giving back to the local communities in ways I never thought I would be involved in.I believe I speak for so many Bentley student athletes as well. Many have travelled to impovershed countries, others have volunteered in homeless shelters, and orphanages locally.
Education, integrity, personal growth, accountability, team support, and respect for opposing teams, via low penalty numbers, is first and foremost prior to a win

John Wristen is a very positive influence. He is always upbeat and looks at the good in others. I have never heard him say anything negative about anyone. He takes his coaching seriously however he seems to understand that enjoying the process of becoming a winning team is more important. He sees potential in all and believes that once they reach their potential they will be great! I heard him say about one of his younger players "when he gets it, he will be great!". He shows enthusiasm not just on the field, but in life. He is a strong male role model and I feel any young player that gets to be mentored by him is lucky! go CSUP!
Mark Hudspeth

In his first year as Head Coach Mark Hudspeth has done more for this team and this community than most residents of Lafayette, LA have seen in their lifetime. For a university that is often in the shadows of its other state schools (see LSU) it can be difficult to see a large turnout for football games; however, Coach Hudspeth has managed to increase the average attendace by almost 70% from a year ago. Coach Hud came in to a team that went 3-9 last year and a program that has not seen a bowl game since 1970, yet he has managed to get his players, his university, and his community behind him.
